Keep Age Care Monashee Mews clean and welcoming through detailed housekeeping, disinfecting, and resident-area care. This full-time role is based in Lumby, British Columbia.
Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, the Hospitality Worker completes assigned cleaning duties in a long-term care setting. The work supports a comfortable, person-centered environment for residents. Duties cover resident suites, restrooms, public areas, offices, and operational housekeeping spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect assigned resident and facility areas
- Clean furniture, fixtures, handrails, baseboards, blinds, and vents
- Remove trash and follow company disposal protocols
- Clean windows, walls, carpets, bathmats, and fireplace glass
- Operate housekeeping equipment and complete daily duty checklists
- High school diploma preferred
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- Previous healthcare or retirement setting experience preferred
- WHMIS training considered an asset
- Equipment experience preferred, including industrial vacuums and floor polishers
Support Age Care residents with thorough cleaning, safe practices, and dependable housekeeping across Monashee Mews in Lumby.
