Keep Age Care Monashee Mews clean and welcoming in Lumby as a casual Hospitality Worker using professional housekeeping equipment. English fluency is required.
Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, this part-time position supports a comfortable, person-centered long-term care environment. You will complete scheduled cleaning duties across resident suites, restrooms, public areas, offices, and nursing stations. The work includes disinfecting, trash removal, carpet care, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect assigned areas
- Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, vents, and handrails
- Remove and dispose of trash following company protocol
- Complete daily duty checklists for Supervisor review
- Operate housekeeping equipment and implements as required
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- High school diploma preferred
- WHIMIS training considered an asset
- Healthcare or retirement setting experience preferred
- Industrial cleaning equipment experience preferred
