Keep Vernon buildings clean and inviting as a Temporary Cleaner with BEST, using sanitation knowledge and dependable floor-care skills. Monday to Friday shifts are offered.
BEST provides custodial and maintenance services for a prestigious client base. This temporary Cleaner role focuses on common areas, kitchens, washrooms, floors, windows, blinds, and other surfaces. You will also handle garbage, maintain equipment, and report repairs or replacements.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain common rooms, kitchens, and washrooms
- Sweep and mop floors throughout assigned building areas
- Clean windows and keep blinds free of dust
- Dispose of garbage properly and safely
- Monitor repairs and maintain cleaning equipment safely
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and methods
- Physical stamina for reaching, kneeling, and bending
- Ability to lift, push, and pull loads up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a Canadian Background Check
- WHMIS Certification is an asset
