AgeCare Healthcare Housekeeping Worker

Keep Age Care residences clean and welcoming through detailed housekeeping, disinfection, and floor-care duties. This casual position works 0800 to 1600.
Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, the Hospitality Worker maintains resident suites, public areas, offices, and other assigned spaces. The work supports Age Care’s person-centered environment in long-term care. Candidates should be fluent in English and comfortable operating housekeeping equipment and implements.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete routine dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting duties
- Clean resident suites, restrooms, lounges, offices, and nursing stations
- Remove trash according to company disposal protocols
- Clean windows and spot wash walls using task checklists
- Operate housekeeping equipment and return daily checklists for review
- Fluent English communication, both orally and in writing
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous healthcare or retirement setting experience preferred
- WHMIS training considered an asset
- Industrial vacuum or floor polisher experience preferred
Support Age Care residents with dependable cleaning, disinfection, equipment operation, and safety reporting in long-term care.
