Position: Vernon Equipment Operator Role
Take on the Equipment Operator role at Emterra Group with a one-year contract in Vernon, BC. Safely handle various machinery in a busy recycling and waste environment.

In this position, you'll be trained to operate a multitude of equipment, including forklifts and track dozers, to ensure smooth operations at waste centers. Regular communication with supervisors is vital, as is documentation of equipment conditions following daily inspections. Your contributions support a sustainable future while working under varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate multiple types of equipment safely and efficiently

• Handle shipping and receiving materials responsibly

• Complete daily equipment inspections and document findings

• Communicate issues and suggestions with supervisors

• Execute all other assigned tasks effectively

Requirements:

• Forklift certification required

• Experience in the recycling industry is beneficial

• Must meet physical job requirements

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Availability for overtime is a must
