Position: Vernon Tourism Marketing Specialist
Join Tourism Vernon as a Marketing Specialist. You will lead innovative marketing strategies and engage with the community to drive tourism growth.

In this role reporting to the Manager of Tourism Vernon, you'll implement the Tourism Strategic Business Plan by managing exciting marketing campaigns. Your tasks include performing market assessments, managing digital content, and establishing strong community relations through successful advertising programs. This position requires enthusiasm for promoting Vernon’s tourism assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and assess tourism marketing campaigns

• Generate engaging content for various media platforms

• Coordinate marketing collateral design and distribution

• Attend community events to promote Vernon’s tourism

• Manage relationships with tourism stakeholders

Requirements:

• Diploma in tourism or related field

• At least 3 years of tourism marketing experience

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence

• Strong communication and public relations skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and content management tools
