We’re looking for a Marketing Representative to join our Sales, Marketing and Logistics team, located in Vernon, British Columbia
. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a marketing-related role.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Experience designing with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  .
• Proven ability to creatively solve problems
  , work collaboratively
  , make sound independent decisions and seek approval when appropriate.
• Strong creative design
  , copywriting
  , research
  , analytical
  , written and verbal communication skills
  .
• Ability to design and execute product marketing and promotional plans within budget.
• Mail Chimp or other email marketing software is an asset.
• Experience planning and coordinating events (ie.
  Tradeshow participation
  ) is an asset.
• Experience editing and creating web pages in Word Press
  , or similar, is an asset.
• Familiarity with guerrilla marketing
  , product promotions
  , digital marketing and in-house projects is an asset.

• Develop and execute
  product branding strategies that support the promotion of Tolko’s lumber, plywood, OSB, and EWP product sectors.
• Create and coordinate
  marketing materials including brochures, warranties, technical sheets, product samples, presentations, customer packages and tradeshow resources
  .
• Design and write
  compelling copy for product launches, promotions, customer announcements, web content, email campaigns and sales materials.
• Support product launches by developing literature
  , photography
  , web content
  , launch strategies and execution plans
  .
• Coordinate tradeshow planning including registration, booth materials, customer meeting materials, scheduling and promotional support.
• Maintain Tolko’s website and product photo library by creating, editing, organizing and refreshing content so it remains accurate, current and professional.
• Plan and execute
  customer retention and onboarding promotions including email promotions, customer packages and communications for new or inactive customers.
• Partner with sales teams, business units, corporate communications and external agencies to create marketing materials that support sales goals and strengthen Tolko’s market presence.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the executive level audience and contribute creative ideas that support business priorities

  The expected base salary range for this position is $87,000 to $116,000 per year.
