In this casual nursing role, you will join a dedicated team at the Vernon Community Dialysis Unit. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for those with chronic kidney disease. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you’ll deliver client-centered care that adapts to patients' evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient assessments and care planning
• Collaborate effectively with the care team
• Provide individualized support to patients and families
• Implement nursing science in practice
• Evaluate care based on changing health conditions
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current BCCNM registration as a practicing nurse
• Two years of general duty nursing or related hemodialysis experience
• Completion of a nephrology nursing certificate
• Valid BCLS certification and BC Driver's License
