This casual position involves providing comprehensive nursing support at the Vernon Community Dialysis Unit.
Your role will encompass patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Addressing the unique needs of patients with chronic kidney disease, you will ensure client-centered care in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and plan care for patients
• Work within a collaborative care team
• Support patients and families through their journey
• Utilize nursing science in your approach
• Adjust care based on patient health changes
Requirements:
• Graduated from an approved School of Nursing
• Registered with British Columbia College of Nurses
• Completion of nephrology nursing certification
• One year of related hemodialysis experience
• Current BCLS certification and a valid BC Driver's License
Deliver exceptional care to patients at Interior Health's Vernon location.
