Serve at Cadet Camp in Vernon as a Registered Practical Nurse, offering essential healthcare services from July to August. Embrace the opportunity to support Cadets while earning over $45/hr.
The Cadet Training Centre Clinics require RPNs for both full-time and part-time roles. With a minimum of one year’s experience in patient assessments and direct nursing care, you will provide health services to Cadets. Responsibilities encompass triage, conducting health education, and documenting patient interactions accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary and emergency health care to Cadets
• Perform triage assessments during walk-in hours
• Administer medications and observe therapeutic effects
• Develop nursing care plans based on assessments
• Assist healthcare providers with treatments and procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience in primary care
• Valid RPN license and CPR certification
• Security clearance and VSS required
• Diploma or higher in nursing
• WHMIS and N95 Mask Fit Testing certifications
