Age Care is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to enhance the well-being of residents at Monashee Mews. This role blends patient-centered communication with nursing expertise, supporting residents and their families in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. Your contributions will significantly impact the lives of our aging population by ensuring their comfort and care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main contact between management and residents' families
• Monitor residents’ health and report changes to the team
• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for best practices
• Engage in training and education opportunities for growth
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience with seniors
• Excellence in dementia care and interpersonal skills
• Completion of an accredited LPN education program
• Active practice permit from the provincial College of Licensed Practical Nurses
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
