In this full-time position, you'll apply your clinical skills to assess and treat children and youth facing mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include safety planning, health education, and direct support to youth and their families. By contributing to a multidisciplinary approach, you'll help integrate care across various settings, ensuring young people receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct clinical care and assessments for youth
• Collaborate closely with families and caregivers
• Engage in safety planning and case coordination
• Conduct health education sessions for youth
• Advocate for proper mental health resources
Requirements:
• BC Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse accreditation
• At least one year experience in nursing care for youth
• Valid class 5 BC Driver’s license required
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
• Previous work with underrepresented youth preferred
