Provide essential healthcare at the Cadet Camp as a Registered Nurse, with competitive pay of $52+/hr. Engage with cadets and support their well-being with both full and part-time hours.
As a Registered Nurse at the Cadet Camp, you will be responsible for first aid and medical assessment for cadets, instructors, and civilians. Duties include conducting patient histories, performing diagnostic interventions, and facilitating healthcare access. Be prepared for various shifts, including weekdays and weekends, ensuring optimal health services for all camp members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat patients reporting to the clinic
• Administer urgent care and provide health information
• Record observations and treatments in medical files
• Collaborate with physicians and ensure cadet safety
• Manage clinic supplies and maintain confidentiality
Requirements:
• Valid RN registration with provincial authority
• Experience in urgent care and patient assessments
• Ability to work eight or twelve-hour shifts
• Strong communication skills for patient interactions
• Successful completion of Police Records Check
