Floor Coordinator

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Floor Coordinator for our Vernon store located at 3202 28 St.

• Receive product, product returns, accessories and supplies and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for delivery or floor placement
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Ensure the store floor inventory is at capacity by category and per established goals
• Create and manage transfers of product in and out of store
• Update reports with storage location, available inventory, and open transfer reports
• Hire and oversees the in-store warehouse operations including supervision of warehouse staff
• Assists visual presentation team when in-store on display set-ups
• Prints and maintains floor tags, set up P.O.P. (Point of Purchase)
• Maintains cleanliness of store and grounds
• Assists with quarterly inventory counts/reconciliations
• Other duties as required

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent skills and experience is preferred
• One to two years of experience in inventory or warehouse
• High attention to detail
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Be physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds
• Safety footwear is required
• Criminal Record Check is required
