Postmedia’s Merchandiser places magazines, books, and consumer packaged goods across Canada. You will follow retail chain requirements, planograms, and current directives while working under a Merchandising Supervisor’s guidance. The position includes receiving coordination, merchandising, and off-sale returns.
Key Responsibilities:- Merchandise products according to retail planograms and requirements
- Place freshly delivered products on displays each visit
- Prepare off-sale product and excess quantity returns
- Provide timely feedback about store issues and fast-selling products
- Meet assigned store deadlines and delivery schedules
- Previous merchandising or retail experience is an asset
- Comfort with the Microsoft PC environment
- Access to a smartphone and internet-connected computer
- Good verbal communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and within time constraints
Support Postmedia retail programs in Vernon through accurate merchandising, planogram execution, product returns, and dependable communication.
