Field Service Technician – Port Hedland, WA – FIFO or Residential CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Port Hedland! As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services on construction equipment at our customer sites.
This role gives you the opportunity to represent and work with world class Volvo Construction Equipment.
RESIDENTIAL OR FIFO ROLE – This opportunity can be a standard 5/2 roster for residents or a FIFO Roster (for FIFO workers, accommodation will be supplied).
What you need to get the job done:
Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Mobile Plant or HV Mechanic)
MC or HR License an advantage
Ability and experience working individually and in remote areas
A team player who promotes safe work practices, and follows company policies and procedures
Conversant with manuals and work instruction, with an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
Have good computer and diagnostic skills and be able to fault find using a laptop
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test CJD vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking devices and individual distress beacons are provided for remote safety.
