Make a difference as a Community Inclusion Worker, helping individuals access personal and community opportunities. Empower people to live independently while ensuring their rights are respected and needs are met.
In this role, you will support individuals in achieving their personal, social, vocational, and volunteer goals. With a minimum of 2 years in community social services or healthcare, you will leverage your strong communication and behavior management skills. Your impact will be felt as you enhance individual autonomy and promote inclusivity within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for individual rights and choices
• Facilitate participation in community activities
• Foster relationships with families and community members
• Document daily activities and health information
• Implement and track the Individual Service Plan
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Community Support Worker Diploma
• Minimum 2 years experience in social services
• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certificates
• Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Criminal record clearance for vulnerable populations
