NexusBC Caregiver Program Coordinator

Become the Caregiver Program Coordinator at NexusBC in Vernon, where you will empower caregivers through tailored support and educational initiatives.

In this full-time role, you will provide personalized assistance to caregivers, facilitating peer support groups and connecting them with vital resources and training. Key Responsibilities:

• Document caregiver intakes to understand unique needs

• Offer ongoing one-to-one support via phone, online or in-person

• Lead support groups while maintaining confidentiality

• Work with health professionals to arrange impactful workshops

• Conduct outreach to identify support needs in various communities

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in health care, social work, or related areas

• Preferably two years’ experience with seniors or diverse groups

• Comprehensive knowledge of community programs and services

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Clean criminal record check necessary
