Become an integral part of our team as a Pre-Employment Supports Caseworker in Vernon, BC. This position entails 22.5 hours of work weekly focused on client support.
As a Caseworker, you'll engage with clients to provide essential support as they transition into the workforce.
Your role will encompass assessing individual needs and creating strategies that facilitate effective job searches, providing a crucial service to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients' employment readiness and needs
• Offer tailored advice for job applications and interview preparation
• Conduct group workshops for skill development
• Network with local employers for job placements
• Track client progress and program effectiveness
Requirements:
• Background in casework or related support roles
• Strong empathy and communication skills
• Must provide a criminal record check
• Ability to gather and provide three references
• Interest in supporting marginalized populations
