Your role is essential in fostering client independence and wellbeing.
As a member of an integrated support team, you will conduct assessments and help residents develop life skills based on their individual needs. This full-time position allows you to engage in community integration while facilitating education and advocacy efforts. You’ll monitor resident behaviours, document observations, and provide crisis support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychosocial assessments per directives
• Facilitate education and support groups for clients
• Assist clients with daily living activities and skill development
• Document client progress and respond to changes in behavior
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Human Services or equivalent
• Current Criminal Record Check and First Aid Level 1
• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
• Experience with mental health and substance use issues
• Skills in crisis intervention and client advocacy
