Position: Casual Bus Driver - School District 22

As a casual bus driver, you will report to the Manager of Transportation Services, responsible for loading and unloading students and maintaining bus cleanliness. Important tasks include conducting pre and post-trip safety inspections and keeping accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload students safely on the bus

• Conduct pre/post trip safety checks and inspections

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus

• Complete associated transportation records

• Manage challenging behaviors with professionalism

Requirements:

• Valid BC Provincial Class II driver’s license with air brake endorsement

• Required driver’s abstract for assessment

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Professional driving experience preferred

• Ability to address student behavior calmly
