An exciting opportunity is available for automotive technicians within AAA Car Care, the largest chain of AAA club‑owned repair facilities in the United States.
Job OverviewAs a Technician C, you’ll complete routine scheduled maintenance and basic automotive repairs under the guidance of a manager or service advisor. This role includes oil changes, tire replacements, alignment, brake service, and other maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities- Perform automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders
- Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, and advanced repair and maintenance services
- Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare them for and complete digital vehicle inspection
- Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after necessary repairs and maintenance are complete
- Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experience

- Closed Sundays and shorter workdays (6pm close)
- Regular hours:
Monday–Friday 7:30 am–6 pm;
Saturday 8 am–4 pm
- High School diploma, GED, or technical school graduate with certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program
- Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems and the ability to perform a variety of basic repairs and maintenance
- Understanding and consistent demonstration of proper use of equipment and tools, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service scores
- ASE certifications (A4‑Suspension & Steering, A5‑Brakes) or equivalent
- G1‑Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferred
- State inspection certificate where applicable
- AC 609 Certification
- Potential exposure to loud noises and odors
- Standing, walking, and normal physical mobility required, including lifting and carrying parts up to approximately 80 pounds
- Must have own tools appropriate for skill level
- Work may involve heat; fans are present in all facilities
- Must work on feet in a concrete facility for entire shift
