Job Description

Permanent Full Time RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist position in a Vernon Hills , IL general dental practice. They are looking for Monday 830-6, Tuesday 9-6, Wednesday 830-530, Thursday 7-6, Friday 8-12. We are a modern, state-of-the-art general dental office located in the Chicago Metro area. We are

a thriving dental practice and are seeking an RDH Dental Hygienist to join our established and

dedicated team. We are searching for a part-time or full-time member of our staff. Benefits included.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling
    and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
  • Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of
    effective oral hygiene methods
  • Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or
    periodontal needs
  • Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care
    slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients
Qualifications

Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
