Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated
Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)for the 2025–2026 school year. We have a full-time opportunity starting January 5th until the end of the school year in Vernon Hills, IL.

Schedule:Full‑Time
Location:In‑person, Hawthorne School District, Middle School
Start Date:Immediate need, January 5th, 2026
Service Focus:Evaluations, direct treatment, IEP development, documentation, and team collaboration

• Provide speech‑language assessments and therapy services
• Develop and implement IEPs; participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain accurate service logs and progress reports
• Collaborate with special education staff and classroom teachers
• Support students’ communication goals across school environments

• Active Illinois state SLP license (or willingness to obtain quickly)
• Illinois PEL with Speech‑Language Pathologist endorsement (or in process)
• School experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
