Senior Workday Technical Systems Analyst - Payroll & Reporting (42000)
Our client is a well-established, employee-centric company seeking a Senior Workday Analyst to lead accurate, compliant payroll and time tracking operations while serving as the Workday Payroll and Time Tracking subject matter expert. Owning system configuration, enhancements, issue resolution, and reporting across Payroll, HCM, Financials, and Adaptive Planning.

Base pay range$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

- Administer Workday Payroll and Time Tracking (EIBs, Mass Submit, Mass Advance)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations
- Serve as escalation point for payroll/time tracking system issues and calculations
- Lead configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday updates and enhancements
- Support bi-annual Workday releases and cross-module integrations
- Build and maintain Workday reports for payroll, time tracking, compliance, and financial needs
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide backup payroll support
- 2+ years of hands‑on Workday Payroll and Time Tracking experience
- Experience with Workday EIBs, Mass Submit, and Mass Advance processes
- Experience building and running Workday reports (custom reports, dashboards, calculated fields), including compliance reporting (OSHA, FLSA)
- Experience supporting Workday system configuration, enhancements, and bi‑annual release testing
- Exposure to Workday HCM, Financials, and Adaptive Planning modules
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
