Senior Business Analyst – Eagle Performance & Reporting
This Non‑Employee Contingent Worker Role provides services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA’s preferred 3rd Party Supplier. The position is for an 11‑month term that may be extended based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior‑level consulting services to business groups on process‑improvement projects designed to enhance IT and business management outcomes.
- Develop and implement new processes, standards or operational plans that positively impact functional results.
- Participate in defining and formulating senior leadership’s IT strategy through review of business objectives and value proposition.
- Advise senior leadership on future business direction and align IT with business priorities, strategies and operating models.
- Recommend solutions or improvements to business processes that can be achieved through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Recommend long‑term improvements and changes to organization’s IT systems to support future business direction and growth.
- Coach, review and delegate work to lower‑level professionals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- 10+ years of progressive work experience in the investment management space.
- Deep knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives performance measurement.
- Strong working knowledge of the Eagle suite of products (Accounting, Pricing, Investment Performance and Data Management).
- Ability to review current processes of business users and identify opportunities to improve efficiency while ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (BRDs), perform impact and gap analysis with formal documentation.
- Identify and communicate risks during the analysis phase and raise flags in advance.
- Lead or contribute to end‑to‑end analysis tasks such as scoping, estimation, planning, work allocation, resource management, progress tracking, status reporting, UAT support and production deployment.
- Facilitate regular communication with IT and business partners using various methods to monitor progress toward project goals, task status, and address issues.
- Strong understanding of data integration, metadata management and data quality; ability to run SQL queries for data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
- University degree preferred (Computer Engineering or related field).
- Post‑graduate specialization in Finance or Financial Services a plus.
- Minimum 10‑11 years of relevant work experience; management experience preferred.
