Quality Control Technician
Job DescriptionThe Quality Control Technician is entrusted with the authority to approve or reject all raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. The role involves sampling and inspecting all in-process and incoming materials, performing routine sampling and inspection of manufactured products, and documenting results accurately in accordance with applicable specifications, test methods, and standard operating procedures. Additionally, the technician will perform environmental monitoring of aseptic filling operations and facility utilities as required by procedure.
Responsibilities- Approve or reject raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Conduct sampling and inspection of all in-process and incoming materials.
- Perform routine sampling and inspection of manufactured products.
- Document results completely and accurately according to specifications, test methods, and standard operating procedures.
- Execute environmental monitoring of aseptic filling operations and facility utilities.
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Chemistry
- Microbiology
- Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- In-Process Control (IPC)
- Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
- Experience with pH probe
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in a cGMP environment, preferably in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or Health Care Industry
Spend time on both the manufacturing floor and the laboratory. On the floor, assist with running seven lines and documenting activities. In the lab, conduct chemistry testing and environmental monitoring.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $22.00 – $22.00 per hour.
