Warehouse Order Picker

Warehouse Order Picker (8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday–Friday)

Hermance Machine Company is looking for a skilled Warehouse Order Picker and Packer to join our distribution center in Vernon Hills, IL. You will pick, pack, and ship customer orders, handle inbound items, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm CT, Monday–Friday (40‑hour work week). Overtime is offered on a regular basis. This position requires a 14‑panel drug test, including THC. Operate sit‑down forklift and cherry picker (order picker with harness).

• Pick and pack orders
• Receive and verify inbound orders
• Palletize and wrap skids
• Assist in other areas as needed
• Load and unload trailers
• Operate cherry picker with harness to pick or put away materials in the racks (also known as order picker vehicle)
• Roll and pack 3x3 laminate sheets

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ year of warehouse experience in a receiving position with similar duties
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Sit‑down forklift experience

• Stands for 3 to 4 hours at a time
• Lifts up to 70 pounds
• Endures fluctuating temperature changes
