31 Union Street, Hartford, CT 10619. The Greater Manchester Region has approximately 2,500 employees including Manchester Memorial Hospital and other facilities serving 300,000 people.

The Clinical Nurse Educator role (Cook II) ensures high quality food service to patients and customers. Primary tasks include portioning, preparing hot and cold food items following HACCP, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting the Executive Chef with training and education.

• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
• Basic math skills such as addition and subtraction for paperwork.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Customer service attitude and considerate interpersonal relations.

• Attends monthly department meetings and in‑services.
• Wears uniform and follows ECHN uniform policy.
• Washes hands, wears gloves following serve‑safe requirements.
• Completes required paperwork (HACCP logs, temperature logs, production sheets).
• Sets up, restocks, and maintains a clean work station following sanitation and safety requirements.
• Accurately follows package directions and recipes when preparing food.
• Complies with Serve Safe certification and ECHN mandatory education.
• Demonstrates proper cooking techniques and quality presentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent (desirable).
• Serve Safe certification preferred; absent certification required to obtain QFO within 30 days.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Annual completion of ECHN mandatory education required.

Five or more years of culinary experience in a health‑care environment preferred.
