School Crossing Guard Coordinator
Under general supervision of the School Crossing Guard Coordinator, a School Crossing Guard or substitute School Crossing Guard is responsible for helping students safely cross roadways as they travel to and from school. This is a part time/seasonal position.
Requirements- No formal education or experience requirements
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Must be able to communicate effectively and give instructions to others
- Good physical health
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Has use of both hands and arms
- Good vision and hearing
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be available to work any day school is in session
- Subject to police background check
- Must be 18 years or older
