Syensqo is a science company focused on chemistry and collaboration to improve lives while preserving the planet. We are looking for a handling technician to work with the safe production, transfer and packaging of various raw materials and products.

• Operate valves, switches, levers and other control devices.
• Perform daily safety and housekeeping chores such as picking up, washing, sweeping and shoveling.
• May operate different types of moving equipment such as trucks and forklifts.
• Provide the base for our fire and rescue squads; at times, team members may be asked to serve on these.
• Turn in maintenance notifications in RCS for the equipment they are responsible for during their assigned shift.
• Operate equipment, transfer and packaging of various materials, adjust and record process changes.
• Participate in plant improvement team work.
• Training (SOPs, COPs, Active Learner, etc.).
• Cleaning and housekeeping.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years experience in production of chemicals preferred
• Previous experience in forklift operation preferred
• Ability to work 8 to 12 hours per shift standing and moving throughout the facility
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to utilize a computer and associated software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently consistently throughout shift
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret lab results to make process changes
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment

• Competitive salary and benefits package
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $22.69 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

• This is a Rotating 12-hour shift:
• 4 days on Day shift - 8:00 am-8:00 pm
• 4-days off (but on call)
• 4 days on Night shift - 8:00 pm-8:00 am
• 4-days off
