Summary

The Checker is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He/She performs all checking and front-end courtesy duties, including spill clean-up, general housekeeping, and other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge guests upon entry.
• Scan all items, starting from the bottom of the basket.
• Properly  when purchasing alcohol and/or tobacco products.
• Assist guests in finding items.
• Follow daily work schedule as assigned.
• Encourage guest participation in satisfaction surveys, rewards programs, and promotional activities.
• Adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines as per the team member handbook.
• Perform sacker duties and replace sack supplies as needed.
• Assist with stocking duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Key Requirements

• Maintain Alcohol Seller/Server Certification.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, walking, squatting, climbing, and running.
• Operate checking equipment, keep accurate records, and handle cash transactions.
• Lift items weighing up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. when placing items in vehicles.
• Accept coaching and work as part of a team.
