Automotive Mechanics – Mavis Tire

We are looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Vero Beach, FL area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States with over 2,000 retail locations.

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state‑mandated vehicle inspections.
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated movements with regular lifting and moving of items weighing over 50 pounds.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
