Position OverviewPrimarily responsible for the creation of documentation for Cash Management services including Business Online Banking, Bill Pay, Wires, ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Lockbox Services and Sweep accounts for Commercial and Small Business customers. Provides management status of requests pending & completed as well as exceptions to ensure quality standards and timelines are met. Under the direction of the Deposit Operations Manager, assists the Cash Management team with fulfilling requests (installations, research, troubleshooting, and transfers/advances) and participates as a resource on projects, as needed.
The position serves as a backup administrator and facilitator for various systems including but is not limited to document scanning, storage and e‑sign.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing support to the setup of Cash Management documentation and Business Deposit accounts in the core system and online banking platform in accordance with applicable policies, procedures as needed. Includes reviewing, preparing, and processing online banking applications and required business deposit onboarding documentation. In addition, you will prepare and send correspondence to business customers upon completion of application processing and setup.
- Responsible for working closely with Cash Management teams as well as business line staff with inquires related to setup or maintenance of new and existing Cash Management Clients.
- Provide technical support to front line staff and customers that exceeds expectations for service and product functionality.
- Primary back up support for Ebanking Specialist I.
- Maintains reporting of all requests that are pending, completed and exception status.
- Assists in setting up RDC for clients and performing/assisting in risk assessment for those clients.
- Responsible for reviewing, clearing and resolving data and file maintenance exceptions related to the setup of Cash Management services.
- Assists with testing of new and existing products and enhancements.
- Provide support to our business customers with cash management services such as wires transfers, ACH origination, bill pay and Remote Deposit Capture as needed.
- Maintain electronic files and required documentation for Cash Management services.
- Act as backup to functions within the department as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and clients.
- Daily review of RDA and large dollar check clearing items.
- The ability to independently troubleshoot and problem solve product and software technical issues in a logical manner.
- Possess a clear understanding of financial transactions and have ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to train customers and employees on sophisticated software applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills including the ability to work in a high‑pressure environment.
- Adheres to policies and procedures and performs functions in compliance with rules and regulations.
- Completes the Bank’s annual security and operational training.
- Complies with all regulations that apply within the scope of the position, including Cybersecurity, GLBA, BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIP.
- Participates in community events to keep with the “Team Marine” philosophy and image.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Preferred working knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake and ancillary software systems including;
Synergy, 4
Sight, OnBoard, Banno, Banno Online Net Teller, ITalk, and Synapsys. - Above average MS Office skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
