Schedule:

Wednesdays 1:00–6:00 PM and Sundays 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Location: Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club, Town of Orchid, Florida.

Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club is a private member‑owned club, recognized as a Distinguished Club™ and a Platinum Club of America. The club spans 600 acres, from ocean to river, and offers three dining venues, a mile of private beach, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, a spa, and an Arnold Palmer‑designed golf course.

Position Overview: We are seeking a licensed massage therapist to perform therapeutic massages and deliver exceptional service to our member clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous, prompt, and professional attention to all members and guests at all times.
• Perform a range of massage therapy services, including Swedish, sports, lymphatic, deep tissue, and other modalities.
• Promote the benefits of massage therapy.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑treatment consultations.
• Answer all questions related to the services performed and products used.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area consistent with the club’s high standards.
• Restock supplies and sanitize equipment in the massage areas.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the personal services performed.
• Schedule clients’ next appointments.

Qualifications and Special Requirements:

• Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation massage therapy license.
• Esthetician license.
• Previous massage therapy experience.
• Experience in deep‑tissue and sports massage.
• Experience in all modalities.
• First‑aid, CPR, and AED certification.

Working Conditions and

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to perform the physical requirements typical of this position.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Must tolerate odors from massage oils and lotions.

Additional Information: This is a 1099 independent contractor position; individuals must provide their own liability insurance.
