What You Will Have An Opportunity To DoThe cleanliness of a hotel is one of the main reasons guests return and recommend our properties. Housekeeping team members play a vital role in daily operations. We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail who can create a memorable guest experience through care in preparing and maintaining guest rooms. This role is the “Heart of the House” and supports guests in relaxing and enjoying their stay.
Experienced room attendants may have opportunities to grow into supervisory or management positions such as Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers, or Executive Housekeeper. - Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
- Work as a team to achieve resort/hotel cleanliness
- Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
- Proper utilization of equipment, supplies, and guest amenities
- Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
- Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following established standards
- Practice safety standards and be aware of safety hazards; report as found
- Respect for guests’ property
- Responsible care of equipment
- Report to work on time and follow posted schedules and room issuance standards
- Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers
- Perform other related duties as requested by Inspector, Supervisor, or Manager
- Housekeeping experience desirable
- Neat, pleasant personality
- Time management skills
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
- Ability to move, reach corners, and maneuver workloads up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate cleaning equipment
- Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
- Must be able to lift corner/sides of heavy mattresses to change linens
$14 per hour (rate shown for illustration; actual compensation packages are based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.)
