Delorie Countertops & Doors, Inc. is an established South Florida counter top company operating since 1999
. We are looking for an experienced Solid Surface / Corian Fabricator for our Vero Beach production team.
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION.
We need someone with hands-on counter top fabrication experience who can independently fabricate Solid Surface / Corian countertops from measurements and shop drawings.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Fabricate Corian and other Solid Surface countertops
- Cut, machine, seam, sand, polish, and finish Solid Surface
- Fabricate integrated sinks, back splashes, edges, and custom pieces
- Read measurements and shop drawings
- Check dimensions and finished pieces for accuracy
- Identify and correct fabrication issues
- Prepare completed countertops for installation
- Maintain clean, accurate, high-quality workmanship
- Professional Solid Surface / Corian fabrication experience
- Hands-on counter top fabrication experience
- Experience with Solid Surface seams, sanding, polishing, and finishing
- Ability to accurately read measurements and shop drawings
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely handle counter top materials and lift up to 75 lbs.
General construction, cabinet, or woodworking experience alone does not qualify.
We are specifically looking for someone who has actually fabricated countertops
, preferably with Corian / Solid Surface
.
$18–$25/hour based on demonstrated experience and skill
After 90 days:
- 9 paid holidays
After 1 year:
- 1 week vacation + 3 sick days
After 2 years:
- 2 weeks vacation + 3 sick days
After 5 years:
- 3 weeks vacation + 3 sick days
Full-time, steady, year-round employment.
