FL - NU - Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA​/Home Health Aide; HHA

Care Options for Kids is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one‑on‑one hourly pediatric and adult care in the home. The role is based in Florida and supports families with compassionate, high‑quality care.

This position involves assisting patients or clients with personal care, maintaining a clean environment, measuring vital signs, and documenting care activities. Work with a registered nurse and other care team members to deliver person‑centered support.

• Perform all personal care activities assigned by the Registered Nurse, including hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment with light cleaning and organization of the patient’s living areas.
• Measure intake and output of fluids, and record temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Keep accurate records of personal health care activities.
• Observe and report any changes in appearance or behavior to the Registered Nurse.

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of home‑care experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, valid Florida CNA license OR 40‑75 hour Home Health Aide Certificate
• Current BLS CPR Certification (obtained in‑person, not online)
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer’s training – 2‑hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1‑hour DOEA Alzheimer’s Video (free on DOEA website)
• Assistance with Self‑Administration of Medication CEU (minimum 2 hours)
• HIV/AIDS CEU
