The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating loans, maintaining loan portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The Commercial Lender will also attend networking events to generate leads, be active in the community, and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of bank loan guidelines is essential for this role.

• Generate loans for commercial clients
• Maintain loan portfolio quality
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, including BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIP
• Attend networking events to generate leads
• Be active in the community on behalf of Marine Bank
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Adhere to bank loan guidelines

• Five or more years’ experience as a commercial lender or equivalent position
• Strong sales, service and persuasion skills plus strong credit and underwriting skills for commercial and commercial real estate loans
• Strong understanding of commercial lending practices
• Excellent communication, analysis, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to generate leads and build relationships
• Knowledge of bank loan guidelines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and Loan Application Software
