Position: Part-time Mechanic (Equipment and Fleet)

We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Equipment and Fleet Mechanic! The Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all company vehicles and landscape equipment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service a wide variety of landscape power equipment, including commercial mowers, 2-cycle equipment, utility vehicles, trailers, and trucks.
  • Operate in a shop with maintained inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Operate safely and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.
    • What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 3+ years of repair experience with mowers, small engines, 2-cycle equipment, and utility vehicles.
  • Strong mechanical skills, including knowledge of basic electrical and hydraulic systems, mower technology, and engines (gasoline and diesel).
  • Basic automotive repair experience.
  • Team player with good communication skills, capable of fostering communication between management and crew leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills, including record keeping, shop cleanliness, inventory management, and parts ordering.
  • Own tools required.
  • High school diploma; additional technical certifications are a plus.
  • Basic computer skills, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
