Description:Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to prepare written reports. Ability to read, speak, and write in English. Must meet all state and federal regulations for bus assistants. Knowledge of characteristics of exceptional education students. Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations related to loading and unloading students. Knowledge of safety rules for street crossing. Skill in handling exceptional education students appropriately.
Job Summary:Assist in attending to the needs and safety of exceptional education students and help maintain order on the bus.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Completion of district training
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening
