Overview In this role you will plan, schedule and prioritize depot maintenance activities for trains, ensuring timely execution and high readiness. You will coordinate with maintenance, retrofit and engineering teams, as well as external partners, to keep operations on track. You’ll monitor spare parts and workshop tools, manage workload and extraordinary planning, and report delays with root‑cause analysis. You will also ensure real‑time dissemination of planning updates and support continuous improvement through data‑driven insights.
Responsibilities Plan and prioritize depot maintenance activities and schedule them as the first goal Report status, follow up and delays for depot maintenance
Coordinate maintenance, retrofit, engineering and external teams
Supervise and coordinate workshop maintenance activities within fixed time slots
Monitor spare parts availability and workshop infrastructure needs
Check production workload and manage extraordinary planning meetings
Verify compliance with time slots and train cycles (handovers, servicing, cleaning, readiness)
Interface with Supply Chain to ensure parts availability and translate issues into work orders
Use SAP for planning updates and reporting; create and release service orders as needed
Provide real‑time planning information in the workshop and communicate updates widely
Attend planning meetings and adjust plans as required
Analyze delays, identify root causes and implement improvements
Produce and share performance indicators (KPIs) and delay reports
Update depot communication tools and train layout information for accessibility
Maintain clear, transparent communication with customers, teams and suppliers
Qualifications
Engineering degree or professional technical qualifications
English mandatory
Experience in a process/production environment
Railways and train systems knowledge preferred
Basic knowledge of maintenance processes required
Strong IT skills, SAP (CS/PM modules) and Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills and ability to make decisions with urgency
Transparency in communication and stakeholder management
