Sidel is seeking a professional Procurement Specialist to join our team and ensure the fulfillment of production requirements. The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in managing purchasing activities, optimizing inventory, and supporting production processes. This position requires a strong understanding of procurement practices, industrial manufacturing, and supplier management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve operational efficiency.

YOUR MISSION

Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders.

Ensure fulfillment of production requirements for procured parts by expediting and rescheduling goods receipts when necessary.

Manage the subcontracting process when required.

Optimize supply management to minimize inventory levels.

Manage supplier forecasts when needed.

Maintain visibility of stock levels and support inventory optimization at the supplier’s site.

Develop a solid understanding of production processes and support production capacity planning.

Coordinate and manage supplier quality issues when required.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.

Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.

Experience in industrial manufacturing work related to procurement is necessary.

Familiarity with SAP is preferred for efficient procurement management.

A background in machining is advantageous for understanding production processes.
