Laser Operator

Overview

Laser Operator at Latitude Digital Marketing. This role is part of a 100% employee-owned team with a second shift:
Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am.

Location:

Verona, WI.

• Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
• Set up and operate a variety of fabrication equipment and hand tools as trained, including running timesaver or other deburring machinery, and using hand and power tools to remove burrs and shape parts according to specifications.
• Operate riveting tools, rollers, shear, and insertion machines as required.
• Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the handbook and other company documents.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work performed and that output meets required deadlines.
• Adhere to ISO/AS quality system and safety procedures.
• Share knowledge and train fellow employees as needed to disseminate fabrication techniques.

• Physical:
  Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance; capable of standing and bending for long periods while performing manual labor and visually inspecting highly cosmetic parts, with or without reasonable accommodations.

  Full-time employment (40 hrs/week).

  Excellent communication skills with positive teamwork and safety attitude; conscientious attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multi-task and troubleshoot; willingness and ability to effectively pass on personal fabrication knowledge to coworkers of lesser ability.
