We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Assembly Technician to perform quality assembly of electronic storage and packaging equipment. Job functions include following detailed workflows and work orders to assemble high-quality products for our customers. This role will also handle customer calls and provide product support and troubleshooting. Candidates should be detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to perform quality control checks, complete weekly inventory reports, and close work orders efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities- Assembly of Semen Storage Units and the sub-assemblies needed.
- Monitor and diagnose equipment issues with customers over the phone, through email and internet.
- Give advice and recommendations regarding operation and maintenance of the machines.
- Follow-up on service work and work orders.
- Report weekly inventory as required.
- Learn and develop skills to repair other equipment that enters the service department.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as necessary.
- Minimum of a high school education or GED. Knowledge of electric and electronics highly desired.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
- Hands‑on experience using common hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Attention to detail to ensure parts are assembled accurately and quality standards are met.
- Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues during assembly or testing.
- Ability to follow standardized processes and maintain documentation such as work orders, quality checks, and inventory logs.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy, including the ability to enter data, update records, and navigate inventory or production software.
- Good communication skills, especially when collaborating with team members or communicating issues to supervisors.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift components, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
- Regularly required to listen, communicate verbally, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Frequent tasks include sitting, standing, walking, reaching with hands/arms, lifting, and operating office equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50‑60 pounds unassisted occasionally.
- Valid driver’s license with minimal restrictions required.
- Equipment service shop with temperature controlled environment.
- Some tasks may require movement throughout the facility to interact with other departments and to complete job duties.
