Restaurant Assistant General Manager – Ian's Pizza Verona

We’re hiring an Assistant General Manager for Ian’s Pizza Verona to help lead our team, learn new skills, and have fun while earning $50,000+ annually + benefits. We are opening a new location in 2026, serving affordable, craft‑quality pizza with an expanded bar.

Your Impact

Right hand to the GM. The co‑pilot, the partner‑in‑crime, supporting FOH, Kitchen, Delivery, and Bar to keep operations humming. You’ll build a culture that is fun, supportive, and aligned with our Vision, Values, and the Big Five Code of Conduct.

Training Path

Your journey starts in Madison for 10 weeks of day‑to‑day training, then 13 weeks of leadership and management training. After training you go to Verona to lead.

  • Train and coach staff and shift leaders
  • Complete staff reviews
  • Keep the restaurant well‑stocked and budget‑approved
  • Build great relationships with vendors
  • Practice Open Book Finance
  • Create effective staff schedules
  • Dream up and test new systems for operational improvement
What You Bring To The Manager Team

We’re looking for a problem‑solver, big‑picture thinker with a scrappy, can‑do attitude.

  • 2+ years of AGM or GM experience in F&B. Quick‑Service or fast‑casual experience is a plus.

  • Must have Food Manager (Serv Safe or Learn2

    Serve) certification or complete within 6 months.
  • Must have Safe Alcohol Server Training (Serv Safe or Learn2

    Serve) certification or complete within 6 months.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs, use ovens, knives, etc.
  • Reliable transportation for varied shift times.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is major plus.
Scheduling

Full‑time, 40‑hour salary; overtime paid over 40 hrs. Schedule split 20‑30 hrs on floor, 15‑20 hrs behind‑the‑scenes. Rotating 2‑4 week shifts. Primarily evenings and weekends.
