Location: Dane County, WI (travel to projects throughout the county)

Lead laborer on an underground utility crew, supporting pipe layers, operators, and the foreman by coordinating labor tasks, maintaining jobsite safety, and ensuring materials and workflow stay organized and efficient.

• Coordinate labor tasks for the underground utility crew
• Maintain jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements
• Organize materials and workflow to keep operations running smoothly
• Lead by example and direct other laborers as needed
• Be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds

• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Class A CDL strongly desired
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years of road construction laborer experience
• Minimum 6 months experience in assembling and installing sanitary sewer pipe, manholes, water main, and storm sewer pipe and manholes
• Knowledge of confined spaces, OSHA trenching and sloping preferred
• Member of local laborer union or willingness to become a union member
• Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends
• Must be able to tolerate variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments
• Must lift 75 pounds
