Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to work primarily with inpatient populations. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs to improve patients' occupational skills, enhance their quality of life, and ensure safe and effective care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform occupational tasks.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including type and frequency of therapy.
• Perform multifaceted therapeutic activities tailored to patient needs, not limited to formal activities.
• Document patient progress with objective and subjective findings; modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families/caregivers on deficits, therapy goals, and adaptive techniques.
• Assist with discharge planning, recommending adaptive equipment, and support programs.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with state regulations.
• Fabricate and fit adaptive devices such as splints and braces; train patients on proper usage.
• Maintain inventory for adaptive equipment and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of employment.
• Experience: Previous experience with inpatient populations is preferred.
• Skills: Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills.
