Maintenance Technician

• Performs routine maintenance on all building equipment, from HVAC to production equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the property.
• Keep machinery in good working order and notify Manufacturing Manager of any repair to be done on any equipment used in the production area.
• Observe safety precautions to prevent fires or explosions.
• Monitor gauges, recording instruments, flow meters, or products to ensure that specified conditions are maintained.
• Observe work areas to detect leaks or equipment malfunctions or to monitor operating conditions.
• Perform daily checks on production scales and forklifts.
• Development of preventative maintenance program while updating the software daily.
• Support other areas of the plant designated by Plant Operation manager.
• Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers and vendors. The information can be exchanged in person, in writing, by telephone, or by email.
• Electrical Three Phase.

Prefer High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to read and write.

Technical Certificates would be helpful.

Previous experience working in a chemical plant preferred but not required.

Reliable transportation.
