American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring KY or compact RN licensure and 2+ years of experience.
Details- Critical access hospital setting on the Medical Surgical Combination unit with swing beds
- 16 Med/Surg beds plus 2 ACU beds
- Adult patient population with geriatric mix, no pediatrics
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Common diagnoses include lower level acute and subacute rehab cases
- Uses Medhost EHR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend or as needed weekend requirement
- Float requirement to ACU PRN, light ICU with no vents
- Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience required
- Med/Surg experience required
- Acute care or rehab experience preferred
- Standard physical work level required
- Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg unit with swing bed patients
- Scrub attire can be any solid color with no fleece, hoodies, or non-scrub gear permitted
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
